That is right, former STPGA Little Linkster Shannon Fish will be one of the contestants on Big Break Atlantis beginning May 14th on Golf Channel. The former Klein Oak and University of Texas golfer had to keep it a secret, even from her parents, but she has returned from the Bahamas resort in style and with confidence. Spring resident Shannon Fish will compete in Golf Channel’s 17th season of its popular Big Break series, Big Break Atlantis, premiering May 14 at 9 p.m. ET.
Fish, 23, turned professional in 2011 following graduation from the University of Texas, posting four top-4 finishes on the Cactus Tour in her rookie year. Earlier this week, Fish captured her first professional victory on the Cactus Tour, turning in a final round 67 to win the Penny Pulz Academy Open.
An intense competitor, Fish was introduced to the game as a child by her mother and one of the game’s all time greats – Jackie Burke. Read more.
